BADAGRY HOUSE OF REPS WAR STILL ON POINT

Unlike other constituencies in Nigeria, the fight for the legislative post of House of Representatives in Badagry is still on. The two candidates, Hon. Arch setonji Gbemenu Koshoedo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Hon. Joseph Hontonyon Bamgbose of the All Progressives Congres(APC) are still struggling in court to decide the winner.

This is as a result of the controversial election that took place in the local government. The candidate for the All Progressives Congress(APC) Hon. Hontonyon Joseph Bamgbose was accused of manipulating the results of the election to his favour. However, it is clear that Badagrians voted his counterpart Hon. Setonji Gbemenu Koshoedo. A report claimed that the election was rigged and Hon. Bamgbose was declared winner by The Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) in Lagos. On that day, the PDP members led by Hon. Koshoedo protested. The case was then transfered to the State INEC office for review and clarification. Here it was detected that the votes were rigged.

After that, the state INEC transfered the case to the election tribunal for solution. They are both in the tribunal resolving the matter.
However, Hon Bamgbose is now in office representing the constituency but comes back regularly to face his case in the tribunal until their dispute will be resolved and a bonafide representative is presented by the tribunal. WHO do you think will win? Comment below :
